Here are the boys on Easter Morning, discovering that the Easter Bunny had come to visit them. He came in the night; sort of like Santa Clause I guess...
Ryan got right to taking things out of both baskets and taking inventory of the goods. I don't think it even occurred to him that there were TWO baskets for any reason at all.
See... one for Evan.Ryan has really been into reading things lately. He loves to spell out the letters of signs, boxes, and anywhere else he can find letters. You see, the Easter Bunny was well aware of all of these wonderful traits of a certain three-and-a-half-year-old, and printed large (all capital) letters and carefully placed them in each basket to identify which was for whom.
Anyhow, here is Evan finding some treats and wondering why there is such a wonderful surprise so early in the morning. I love how he looks all sort of morning groggy in this picture. It was 7am and they literally had just woken up.
Here's Ry with his basket.
And, when the hunting of Easter eggs all over the house was finished, he did some sort of super-hero muscle man pose for the camera.
Then it was time to get ready for 9:00 am church. I am so bad about keeping my composure while trying to get the boys out the door. I raise my voice, and say hurry, hurry, hurry. Arg. Does not exactly add to the spirit of church or anything, but I'll keep trying to be better. I'm sure Craig can picture our noisy Dean household full of screaming kids and yelling mother and all. Go ahead Craig, laugh it up!

Here's my rambunctious one-year old Evan. He pretty much never slowed down all day. After 2 hours and 45 minutes of church he decided he would finally conk out. Only to be awoken to Mommy yelling at Ryan to get out of the street before a car hits him.
And, here's our crazy three year old. Ryan gets really grumpy when he doesn't eat but he refuses to eat when I ask him to. He did eventually chomp down a quarter cup of Fruit Loops this morning and was, as Mommy knew, much happier afterward.
The only shot I got of both boys together. Who knows what Evan is doing, and Ryan is absolutely cheesy.
After church, the sun decided to come out and grace us with a wonderful, warm afternoon. The boys and I spent a lot of time outside waiting for Daddy to come back from studying. Evan was being super cute so of course I had to snap a few shots.

loved the pictures! Your boys are so cute!
Okay, I've been out of the blogging world for too long. I had no idea that you guys moved into a new home. It's so pretty. I'm completely jealous! I would love to have a home like that and live in Utah. Maybe one day we will make it back home. Congrats.
Hi Jen,
Kelly told me about your blog! she wanted me to come and check it out.. so I did!! hehe!
I absolutely LOVE to see you guys in the house ( even though, it brings very sentimental memories).
It is so fun to see your babies having fun in the backyard! you are so lucky you have a yard! ours is just dirt and weeds! but it will get there..I hope!lol
It is nice to see pics of the deck railing, Bryce told me it looks nice.
Anyways, hope you are having fun in the neighborhood! A real blessing is to have Kells across the street.. she is the BEST!
